Management Committee Meetings
Management meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, commencing 7.30pm. We appreciate feedback to ensure we continue to have a great club environment. If you have any issues you wish to be discussed at the meeting please, advise the Secretary or President so that the item can be included in the agenda. As we are all very busy individuals who volunteer our time, we attempt to keep these meetings precise and focus on the matters at hand and aim to have a closing time of 9.00pm – 9.30pm.
Complaints
Formal complaints are to be made through the Risk Management Officer – your Club President.
If you have some constructive criticism please feel free to speak to the President, or your Chief Instructor, both of whom will endeavour to deal with any issue in the APPROPRIATE MANNER.
Derogatory criticism or opinions of committee members, or other helping members of our club are not appreciated and will not be tolerated – least of all from someone who is not “helping/working/making an effort” for the club. Remember - we might gladly step aside, and allow you to take over our role. Also, included in the membership forms is the PCAQ Code of Contact – it will be enforced.
Instructors
Qualified Instructors will be allocated specific rally days throughout the year (This is to ease the expectation of instructors having to be available for all rallies). Parents/Guardians of riding members will be expected to assist at rallies (for example, set up and conduct novelty events or assist instructors), so please wear appropriate footwear and sun safe clothing.
A Word about Pony Club INSTRUCTORS:-
Instructors devote their OWN TIME and EFFORT to helping your children get the most out of their riding and teaching them how to take better care of their horses.
Instructors are UNPAID, & most also expend their own time and money attending courses to further their knowledge. Naturally some are more experienced than others. However, all instructors want to see their riders improve and enjoy themselves.
Your support and consideration to our instructors can change what often feels like a thankless task into a more enjoyable and constructive time for all.
